Mines are Buildings available only in the Ancient World.
They are the singular source of Crystals which are required for the development of Ancient Dragons. There is only one Mine for each type of Crystal, totaling six.
Upon first entering the Ancient World, only the Ruby Mine can be readily mined from. The remaining five mines have to be rebuilt using Platinum 
.
Players spend Gold obtained from the Overworld to mine from Mines, to collect Crystals after a duration of time. Mining can be sped up using Gems 
.
Mines can be upgraded using Platinum . With each level increase, Mines yield more Crystals from mining, and higher purity Crystals can be naturally harvested. Mining from higher level Mines also costs more Gold and have longer mining times.
