Farms are an essential building in Dragon City, as it serves as one of the player's main source of Food. Players can plant Crops by spending Gold, and when they eventually grow, they can be harvested for Food and XP. As the player levels up, upgrades for Farms are unlocked, which provides the player with greater varieties of Crops to plant.
Each Crop type in the Farm has a counterpart which are only accessible to players who are in an Alliances. These Crops cost the same in Gold and grants the same amount of XP as the original, but yield higher amounts of Food.
Limits[]
In the beginning, players start off with only one Farm. As their player Level increases, more Farm buildings can gradually be built, up until the maximum of 14 Farms.

Notes[]
- In most cases your dragons will generate enough gold to pay for their own Food, but when trying to level a dragon up to a high level you may find that the growing process is not producing enough food fast enough for your plans. In such cases you can use gems to speed up production or to buy food from the game.
- Here is a handy tip for those of you that are under the lvl 18. If you have 11 min to spare than just keep producing dragon bells. After some math you can make 100 in 10 mins(a 30 min value!), this is for 1 food farm (multiply the food produced by two for every food farm).
- Tip: Grow Hot Dragon Chili for players whose level is level 18 below. Then, for the last Big Food Farm without any plants, grow Unicorn Horns. For high level players and rich, grow Ladybug Blossoms, then the last Huge Food Farm without grown food will have Flesh Eaters in it.
- Crop names in Dragon City Mobile are not exactly as they are in PC after an unknown update. They are renamed to farmer grades (like Grower, Harvester).
- Farm cannot be stored or sold.
- If you are in alliance, you can grow the Alliance Crops which can produce more Food than the Normal Crops.
- If you are keeping to grow the Normal Crops for every 3 times. The "Alliance Crops Recommendation" pop up appears. To fix this annoying pop up. Creating or your own alliance or by joining other alliance and grow Alliance Crops instead.
- If you leave the alliance, The Alliance Crops become unavailable and cannot be regrown.
